Childhood, family, working parents, and an entrepreneurial environment.

PREFACE

Some books are born from an idea. Others, from research. Some arise from shared knowledge, and this book was born from life.

It was born from paths traveled, doors that opened, doors that closed, dreams realized, plans interrupted, and new beginnings that often arrived unannounced.

For a long time, I never imagined that my story could be turned into a book.

And, in fact, I believed that my life was too ordinary for that. After all, there are millions of people who work hard, face difficulties, experience losses, overcome challenges, and move forward every day.

What I didn't understand was that the power of a story doesn't lie in it being extraordinary. It lies in it being true.

Looking back, I realize that my journey has been built by many versions of myself. The girl who grew up watching her parents work, the teenager who faced moments of emotional fragility. The young woman who dreamed of seeing the world. The student passionate about knowledge. The woman who experienced failures. The entrepreneur who had to learn from her own mistakes. The daughter who saw her mother struggle daily. The woman who faced depression, a divorce, and a profound process of rebuilding her life.

The woman who found in God a direction she had never found in anything else. They all live within these pages.

But this book wasn't written solely to tell my story. If that were the only goal, perhaps it wouldn't make sense.

It was written because I believe that human experiences possess something powerful: they build bridges.

When someone shares their truth sincerely, another person finds the courage to look at their own life. Perhaps you haven't lived through the same situations I have. Perhaps our paths are completely different. Perhaps you've never been an entrepreneur. Perhaps you've never traveled to another country. Perhaps you've never worked in immigration, law, or business.But you've probably felt fear before. 

You've probably experienced loss.
You've probably had to start over.
You've probably questioned the future.
You've probably faced moments when you didn't know what the next step would be.

And that's exactly where our stories intersect.

Throughout these pages, you will find achievements, but you will also find mistakes. You will find dreams fulfilled, but you will also find dreams interrupted. You will find faith, but you will also find doubt. You will find strength, but you will also find fragility.

Because that's what real life is like. It's not just made up of victories. It's made up of humanity.

While writing this book, I realized that the most important events in my life weren't necessarily the ones that seemed the biggest when they happened.

The moments that transformed me the most were often the quietest ones.

The conversations that changed my way of thinking. The losses that forced me to mature. The failures that revealed truths about myself. The decisions made when no one was watching. The fresh starts that seemed small, but completely changed the direction of my life.

It was through them that I learned something I want to share with you.

Life is not a straight line. It is made of curves. Of detours. Of pauses. Of rebuilding.And that doesn't mean we're lost. It simply means that we are alive.

Perhaps you are reading this book during a period of growth. Perhaps you are experiencing pain. Perhaps you are celebrating achievements. Perhaps you are trying to piece together something that has broken.

Regardless of what stage of life you are in, I hope these pages will accompany you on your journey.

Not as someone who has all the answers. But as someone who also had to find them along the way.

I wrote this book honestly.

Without trying to appear perfect.

Without the intention of constructing an idealized image.

Without intending to turn difficulties into heroism.

I wrote because I believe there is beauty in truth.

There is strength in vulnerability.

There is learning in new beginnings.

And there is hope when we understand that no single difficult chapter has the power to define our entire story.

If there is one message I want you to take with you as you read, it is this:

No matter how many times life has changed your plans.

It doesn't matter how many times you've had to start over.

It doesn't matter how many times you've felt fear.

As long as there is a willingness to keep moving forward, new chapters can be written.

This book is about my story.

But above all, it's an invitation for you to reflect on your own.
